CommDe จุฬาฯ ภูมิใจเสนอ
IN PROGRESS No. 1: THIS IS NOT AN EXHIBITION
ซึ่งนำเสนอก้าวแรกของนิสิตปีหนึ่งรุ่นแรกของหลักสูตรนี้
เข้าสู่อาณาจักรของ การออกแบบเพื่อการสื่อสาร
(communication design).

ตลอดหนึ่งสัปดาห์ นับแต่วันที่ 14 มกราคม
นิสิต CommDe จุฬาฯ 40 คน จะยึดพื้นที่ว่างในหอศิลป์ กทม.
เป็นห้องปฏิบัีติการ เพื่อร่วมกันนำเสนอตัวเองสู่โลกกว้าง
ในฐานะนักออกแบบเพื่อการสื่อสารในอนาคต
ด้วย installation ชิ้นเดียวแต่มากด้วยจินตนาการ
ซึ่งจะทำเสร็จในวันศุกร์ที่ 22 มกราคม.

เราขอเชิญท่าน มาชมและตัดสินใจด้วยตัวเอง
ว่านี่เป็นนิทรรศการ หรือไม่.

CommDe (คอมดี)จุฬาฯ คือหลักสูตรปริญญาตรีนานาชาติสาขาการออกแบบเพื่อการสื่อสาร (communication design) ซึ่งรวมเอาศาสตร์การออกแบบหลากหลายเข้าด้วยกัน นับตั้งแต่ กราฟฟิคดีไซน์, การออกแบบอักษร, illustrations, การออกแบบภาพยนตร์/สิ่งพิมพ์/เกม/animation และ new-media design.

CommDe (คอมดี)จุฬาฯ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของภาึควิชาการออกแบบอุตสาหกรรม คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย.



Chulalongkorn University's CommDe is proud to present
IN PROGRESS No. 1: THIS IS NOT AN EXHIBITION,
which features its first-year students' first steps
in the realm of communication design.

For one week from January 14,
40 CommDe's students will take over an enormous empty space
at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC)
and explore how they might represent themselves
as promising future communication designers
through a single yet ambitious installation.
The installation is due to be completed on Friday 22nd January.

We would like to invite you to see and decide for yourselves
whether this is an exhibition or not.


Dates: 22-31January 2010
Venue: Bangkok Art and Culture Centre [BACC] - 4th-floor studio
Opening Reception: Friday 22nd January 2010, 18:30 p.m

Chulalongkorn University's CommDe is an international bachelor programme in Communication Design, which embraces a wide range of design disciplines, including graphic design, typographic design, illustrations, design for moving images, design for printing, animation, game design, and new-media design.

Chula's CommDe is a part of the Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University.

CommDe Unofficial Requirements 2010

Application requirement
1 Application form including a personal statement & letter of reference
2 One of the following English proficiency test scores:
CU-TEP minimum 550 or
IELTS minimum 6 or
TOEFL minimum 550 or
*SAT(Verbal) minimum 400 or
*CU-AAT(verbal) minimum 400

3 One of the following Math test scores:
*CU-AAT (math) minimum 450 or
*SAT (math) minimum 450
4 Test of aptitude in Design (CU-TAD) minimum 40 percent
5 Portfolio 10-15 pieces

NOTE:
*English and Math scores from either CU-AAT or SAT must be from the same test date.
